HCLTech has been chosen by Hong Kong Aero Engine Services Limited (HAESL) to modernise and digitally transform its maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations. As part of the engagement, HCLTech will implement its iMRO/4 asset management platform, integrated with SAP S/4HANA, to serve as HAESL’s new Maintenance Execution System (MES) in Hong Kong.
The transformation is aimed at streamlining HAESL’s MRO processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and operational performance. The solution will provide real-time data visibility for quicker decision-making, optimise resource utilisation, and ensure compliance with international aviation standards.
By integrating iMRO/4 with SAP S/4HANA, HAESL expects enhanced end-to-end traceability and a unified workflow view from engine induction through release, reducing operational bottlenecks and improving execution quality.
HCLTech said the partnership combines its aviation technology expertise with HAESL’s maintenance capabilities to create a scalable digital foundation, enabling faster turnaround times, lower costs, and long-term operational excellence in engine MRO services.
