BEML posts Q3 net loss of Rs 22.70 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 22.70 crore compared to net profit of Rs 24.77 crore in the previous year quarter.ÿ

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 23.69 per cent at Rs 1,083.27 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 875.77 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During October-December quarter, operating expenses increased by 32.42 per cent to Rs 1,079.68 crore from Rs 815.37 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 27.03 per cent at Rs 3.51 crore versus (Dec'24 Rs 4.81 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 94.06 per cent to Rs 3.59 crore as against Rs 60.40 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 95.22 per cent in December quarter.

Interest declined by 30.48 per cent y-o-y to Rs 11.61 crore, while Taxation decreased by 158.61 per cent at Rs -3.03 crore (Dec'24 Rs 5.17 crore).
