RailTel secures Rs 115 crore order from Power Grid Corporation

RailTel Corporation of India Ltd on Tuesday announced that it has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited for execution of a domestic services contract.

According to the company’s regulatory filing, the order is valued at approximately Rs 115.20 crore, inclusive of taxes. The project is scheduled to be executed by September 10, 2034, and will be carried out under the terms specified in the Notification of Award.

RailTel clarified that the contract has been awarded by a domestic entity and does not fall under related party transactions. The company also confirmed that its promoter or promoter group has no interest in the awarding entity.

The company received the work order on March 10, 2026, at 6:43 PM, and stated that the disclosure was approved by its Executive Director at the Corporate Office.
