TCS, Pearson partner to drive AI-powered learning for future-ready workforce

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Pearson have announced a multi-year strategic partnership to help enterprises build future-ready workforces through AI-powered learning and assessment solutions.

The collaboration will combine Pearson’s expertise in enterprise learning and assessment with TCS’ strengths in contextual AI and its TCS iON digital learning platform to enable organisations to bridge skill gaps and enhance productivity.

Pearson CEO Omar Abbosh said the partnership will help organisations translate AI investments into tangible outcomes by equipping employees with the skills needed to work effectively alongside new technologies. TCS CEO and MD K Krithivasan added that the collaboration will support enterprises in building adaptable and skilled workforces in an AI-driven environment.

As part of the partnership, both companies will work across key areas including integrating learning and skills intelligence into enterprise models, co-developing AI-led learning products, and strengthening early-career and workforce readiness programmes. TCS will also incorporate Pearson’s Versant English proficiency assessment into its hiring and training initiatives.

Additionally, Pearson’s solutions will be integrated into the TCS iON platform to create an end-to-end talent ecosystem, enabling organisations to build verified talent pipelines and manage workforce transformation more effectively.

The partnership comes amid rising demand for upskilling solutions, with Pearson noting that effective human-AI collaboration could add trillions of dollars to the global economy in the coming years.
