BHEL Signs Technology Pact with E2S Company Ltd

State-owned Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) on Thursday announced that it has signed a Technology Collaboration Agreement (TCA) with South Korea-based E2S Company Ltd for excitation systems used in synchronous machines.

The agreement will enable BHEL to design, engineer, manufacture, install, commission, test, service, retrofit, and market both static and brushless excitation systems in India as well as overseas.

The collaboration is expected to strengthen BHEL’s technological capabilities, enhance its competitiveness in the excitation systems segment, and support the government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative, the company said in a regulatory filing.
