Benchmark equity indices ended the week's last trading day in positive territory.
Friday ended in favor of the bulls, as 41 out of 50 constituent stocks ended in the green, led by Bharti Airtel, ITC, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Hindustan Unilever, and UltraTech Cement, with gains of up to 4.44 per cent. Conversely, Shriram Finance, Tata Steel, Hindalco, IndusInd Bank, and JSW Steel were among the 9 stocks that ended lower, with losses extending up to 2.44 per cent.
The 30-share benchmark index ended at 82133.12 up by 843.16 points or by 1.04 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24768.3 up by 219.6 points or by 0.89 %.
