Indian benchmarks Sensex and Nifty advanced, with the Sensex reclaiming 83,000 and the Nifty touching 25,420, after the US Federal Reserve reduced its key rate by 25 basis points to 4–4.25 per cent.
At 9:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 83070.98 up by 377.27 points or by 0.46 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25427.65 up by 97.4 points or by 0.38 %.
