Benchmark Sensex rose by nearly 300 points while Nifty traded above the 25,250 level in the morning session on Friday, following buying in realty and utilities stocks.
At 10:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 82,509.96 up by 337.86 points or by 0.41 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25,297.65 up by 116.55points or by 0.45%.
Sensex touched intraday high of 82571.4 and intraday low of 82072.93 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25167.65 and intraday low of 25167.65.
