The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty ended Wednesday’s session in positive territory, buoyed by global market optimism and a decline in crude oil prices.
Bajaj twins, Trent, Asian Paints, and Eternal (Zomato) were among the top gainers, while Infosys, Tata Motors, Tech Mahindra, and Axis Bank were the top laggards.
The 30-share benchmark index ended at 82605.43 up by 575.45 points or by 0.7 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25323.55 up by 178.05 points or by 0.71 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 82727.02 and intraday low of 82084.37 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25365.15 and intraday low of 25159.35
