Indian equities closed higher on Friday, with benchmark indices hitting a 52-week high during the session. Both the Sensex and Nifty extended their winning streak to three consecutive days as markets remained upbeat ahead of the Diwali festival.
The 30-share benchmark index ended at 83952.19 up by 484.53 points or by 0.58 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25709.85 up by 124.55 points or by 0.49 %.
