Mid-Session: Sensex slips 264 pts; Nifty below 25,700

Indian stocks were listless on Tuesday, swinging between gains and losses, amid feeble global cues and lack of major market moving triggers.



At 12:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 83713.98 down by -264.51 points or by -0.31 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25670.7 down by -92.65 points or by -0.36 %.



Sensex touched intraday high of 84068.01 and intraday low of 83653.66 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25787.4 and intraday low of 25648.9



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 3819.00,+2.45%), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 2119.40,+2.20%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 1048.75,+0.56%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 3562.90,+0.40%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1449.45,+0.33%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 279.45,-2.97%), Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. (Rs. 408.50,-2.05%), Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 316.55,-1.83%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 179.60,-1.67%), NTPC Ltd. (Rs. 330.00,-1.55%), among others.
