Sensex down 94 points; NSE Nifty at 25541.6

Domestic bourses continued to trade lower during the noon trading session.



At 14:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 83364.39 down by -94.76 points or by -0.11 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25541.6 down by -56.05 points or by -0.22 %.



Sensex touched intraday high of 83846.35 and intraday low of 83330.85 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25679.15 and intraday low of 25515.95



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 2602.05,+4.64%), Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1492.10,+1.38%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 3625.00,+1.21%), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (Rs. 11922.00,+0.90%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 3011.75,+0.73%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 270.55,-3.03%), Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 305.30,-2.60%), NTPC Ltd. (Rs. 326.00,-1.42%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 1042.10,-1.40%), ICICI Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1322.20,-1.08%), among others.



Auto index was at 59550.16 up by 59.35 points or by 0.1%. Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 3625.00,+1.21%), Ashok Leyland Ltd. (Rs. 142.00,+1.14%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 15472.00,+0.66%), Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (Rs. 5343.55,+0.65%), Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. (Rs. 408.55,+0.50%),.

The Market breadth, indicating the overall strength of the market, was weak. On BSE out of total shares traded 4493 , shares advanced were 1315 while 3013 shares declined and 165 were unchanged.
