Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty staged a strong comeback on Tuesday, closing with robust gains after a weak start, supported by buying in services and telecom stocks amid renewed optimism over a potential US-India trade deal.
The 30-share benchmark index ended at 83871.32 up by 335.97 points or by 0.4 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25694.95 up by 120.6 points or by 0.47 %.
