Mid-Session: Sensex up 51 points; NSE Nifty at 26078

Indian benchmark indices continued to trade marginally up during the noon trading session supported by buying in index heavyweights.



At 12:50 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 85283.47 up by 51.55 points or by 0.06 % and then NSE Nifty was at 26078 up by 9.85 points or by 0.04 %.



Sensex touched intraday high of 85473.47 and intraday low of 85193.27 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 26142.8 and intraday low of 26046.75



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1507.45,+3.19%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1564.00,+1.26%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1623.25,+0.93%), HDFC Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1007.35,+0.92%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 2102.60,+0.77%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 3698.30,-1.35%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 274.70,-1.06%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 166.55,-0.86%), ITC Ltd. (Rs. 404.95,-0.70%), Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. (Rs. 359.90,-0.65%), among others.
