Indian benchmarks continued to trade in positive terrain during the noon trading session amid mixed global cues. Investors are looking forward to the Q2FY26 GDP data, scheduled to be released later today, to gauge the economic health.
Meanwhile, European stocks are seen opening flat to slightly higher on Friday amid low-volume trade after data from Salesforce showed online sales in the U.S. on the Thanksgiving holiday.
Among key shares, Reliance Jio and Vodafone Idea have opposed Trai's proposal for turnover-linked penalties of up to 1 percent for incorrect financial reports. Adani Enterprises gained 1 percent. Adani Group has acquired a 72.8 percent stake in Flight Simulation Solutions for Rs 820 crore.
Also, Bandhan Bank added 1 percent after it announced plans to sell NPAs and written-off portfolios worth Rs. 7000 crore through a bidding process to improve asset quality. Voltamp Transformers surged 4.5 percent on securing an order worth Rs. 85 crore from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation.
At 12:34 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 85824.27 up by 103.89 points or by 0.12 % and then NSE Nifty was at 26227.85 up by 12.3 points or by 0.05 %.
The BSE Sensex touched intraday high of 85969.89 and intraday low of 85577.82 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 26280.75 and intraday low of 26172.40.
