Mid-Session: Sensex, Nifty in red; Metal, Realty stocks weigh

Domestic bourses continued to hover in red during the noon trading session weighed down by selling in index heavyweights including Axis Bank Ltd.Eternal Ltd.HCL Technologies Ltd.Tata Steel Ltd.Bajaj Finserv Ltd. among others.



At 12:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 84740.23 down by -473.13 points or by -0.56 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25889.85 down by -137.45 points or by -0.53 %.

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 2094.20,+1.07%), Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 3900.70,+0.90%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 3620.70,+0.36%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 2185.00,+0.21%), ITC Ltd. (Rs. 403.10,+0.20%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Axis Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1233.40,-3.96%), Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 287.45,-3.65%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1648.10,-2.14%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 170.05,-1.59%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (Rs. 2043.65,-1.25%), among others.
