Mid-Session: Nifty, Sensex mixed in choppy trade; Infosys, HCLTech weigh

The NSE Nifty 50 and the BSE Sensex were trading on a mixed note as the indices continuously oscillated between losses and gains.



At 12:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 85755.53 down by -6.48 points or by -0.01 % and then NSE Nifty was at 26333.05 up by 4.5 points or by 0.02 %.



Sensex touched intraday high of 85883.5 and intraday low of 85516.75 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 26373.2 and intraday low of 26263.6



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Nestle India Ltd. (Rs. 1312.90,+2.60%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 17279.80,+1.88%), Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 2819.55,+1.70%), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (Rs. 12092.45,+1.66%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 185.80,+1.61%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1608.85,-1.94%), HDFC Bank Ltd. (Rs. 983.35,-1.78%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1610.80,-1.77%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 978.95,-1.18%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1597.45,-0.94%), among others.



Realty index was at 7097.17 up by 133.23 points or by 1.91%. Embassy Developments Ltd. (Rs. 59.41,+4.63%), Sobha Ltd. (Rs. 1558.70,+4.46%), Lodha Developers Ltd. (Rs. 1123.70,+3.44%), Godrej Industries Ltd. (Rs. 2117.30,+2.35%), Anant Raj Ltd. (Rs. 596.50,+2.08%),.



IT index was at 36747.76 down by -389.15 points or by -1.05%. Ramco Systems Ltd. (Rs. 554.00,-3.31%), Sasken Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1505.00,-2.71%), Dynacons Systems & Solutions Ltd. (Rs. 982.75,-2.20%), InfoBeans Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 885.50,-2.20%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1608.85,-1.94%),.



The Market breadth, indicating the overall strength of the market, was weak. On BSE out of total shares traded 4453 , shares advanced were 1888 while 2333 shares declined and 232 were unchanged.
