Sensex down 286 points; NSE Nifty at 26246.5

Domestic bourses continued to trade lower during the noon trading session weighed down by selling in HDFC Bank Ltd Infosys Ltd HCL Technologies Ltd. Bajaj Finance Ltd, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.among others.



At 14:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 85475.39 down by -286.62 points or by -0.33 % and then NSE Nifty was at 26246.5 down by -82.05 points or by -0.31 %.



Sensex touched intraday high of 85883.5 and intraday low of 85315.33 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 26373.2 and intraday low of 26210.05



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Nestle India Ltd. (Rs. 1315.55,+2.81%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 186.10,+1.78%), Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 2820.75,+1.74%), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (Rs. 12068.00,+1.45%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 17200.00,+1.41%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were HDFC Bank Ltd. (Rs. 979.25,-2.19%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1606.25,-2.10%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1606.20,-2.06%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 977.95,-1.28%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 3221.50,-0.88%), among others.



Realty index was at 7091.54 up by 127.6 points or by 1.83%. Sobha Ltd. (Rs. 1567.00,+5.02%), Embassy Developments Ltd. (Rs. 59.61,+4.98%), Lodha Developers Ltd. (Rs. 1119.95,+3.09%), Godrej Industries Ltd. (Rs. 2113.05,+2.14%), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd. (Rs. 1652.20,+2.06%),.

The Market breadth, indicating the overall strength of the market, was weak. On BSE out of total shares traded 4581 , shares advanced were 1779 while 2570 shares declined and 232 were unchanged.
