Benchmark Indian equity indices traded on a muted and lackluster note during Sunday’s special trading session, as investors remained cautious ahead of the Union Budget for FY27. Market sentiment stayed subdued with participants awaiting key announcements from Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, who is scheduled to present the Budget later today.
At 9:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 82407.8 up by 138.02 points or by 0.17 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25309.75 down by -10.9 points or by -0.04 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 82499.5 and intraday low of 82139.12 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25342.55 and intraday low of 25252.3
