Benchmark Indian equity indices hit day's low in Sunday's special session after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman raised securities transaction tax (STT) on Futures and Options (F&O) trade in Union Budget 2026.
At 12:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 81336.39 down by -933.39 points or by -1.13 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25009.95 down by -310.7 points or by -1.23 %.
