Indian benchmarks continued to trade higher during the noon trading session led by buying across PSU Bank and IT stocks. In the broader markets, the Nifty MidCap and SmallCap were trading 0.10 per cent and 0.7 per cent higher, respectively.
Overseas, European stocks are seen opening on a sluggish note Tuesday, with geopolitics and upcoming U.S. economic readings likely to be in the spotlight. The pan European Stoxx 600 edged up by 0.1 percent. The U.K.'s FTSE 100 added 0.3 percent and France's CAC 40 finished marginally higher while the German DAX dropped half a percent.
Among key shares, share price of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) hit a new high of ₹4,239.90, gaining nearly 1 per cent on the BSE in Tuesday’s intra-day deals. Rategain Travel Technologies was quoting at Rs 577.55, up Rs 38.05, or 7.05 percent. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 589.05 and an intraday low of Rs 530.75.
At 12:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 83502.72 up by 225.57 points or by 0.27 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25742.1 up by 59.35 points or by 0.23 %.
The BSE Sensex touched intraday high of 83588.89 and intraday low of 82987.43 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25745.75 and intraday low of 25570.30.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Kwality Wall's (India) Ltd. (Rs. 28.08,-4.85%), Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 279.60,-2.25%), Trent Ltd. (Rs. 4140.00,-2.10%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 203.40,-1.14%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 3475.00,-0.98%), among others.
