Indian benchmarks continued to trade flat during the noon trading session amid mixed global cues. In the broader markets, Nifty MidCap 100 was flat with a negative bias, while SmallCap was up 0.18 per cent.
Overseas, Asian stocks rose in thin holiday trading and US equity-index futures edged higher as the recent selling pressure tied to artificial intelligence appeared to stabilize. European stocks are seen opening broadly higher on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Ratnamani Metals and Tubes was quoting at Rs 2,505.35, up Rs 353.50, or 16.43 percent. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 2,525.00 and an intraday low of Rs 2,159.05. Hexaware Technologies slumped 4.4 percent after launching an open version of RapidX.
At 12:27 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 83383.41 down by -67.55 points or by -0.08 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25709.85 down by -15.55 points or by -0.06 %.
The BSE Sensex touched intraday high of 83603.56 and intraday low of 83163.62 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25759.75 and intraday low of 25645.15.
