Benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty declined sharply on Thursday, snapping a three-day rally, as a surge in crude oil prices and weak global cues weighed on market sentiment.
Analysts added that continued foreign institutional outflows further pressured the markets, contributing to the overall weakness.
At 10:36 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 75053.81 down by -1650.32 points or by -2.15 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23217 down by -560.8 points or by -2.36 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 75354.18 and intraday low of 74685.52 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23378.7 and intraday low of 23180.95
