Post-Session: Sensex ends 326 pts up, Nifty below 23200

The Nifty 50 and Sensex gave up part of their intraday gains to close below the day’s peak levels, as concerns over energy supply resurfaced following reports of renewed strikes between Iran and Israel.



The 30-share benchmark index ended at 74532.96 up by 325.72 points or by 0.44 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23114.5 up by 112.35 points or by 0.49 %.



Sensex touched intraday high of 75286.39 and intraday low of 74385.04 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23345.15 and intraday low of 23067.6



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 196.70,+3.23%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1380.05,+3.01%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1254.60,+2.78%), Trent Ltd. (Rs. 3565.35,+2.41%), Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1414.55,+2.11%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were HDFC Bank Ltd. (Rs. 780.45,-2.41%), Bharat Electronics Ltd. (Rs. 426.05,-1.10%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 365.85,-0.57%), ICICI Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1245.55,-0.42%), InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. (Rs. 4147.90,-0.22%), among others.
