Benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty dropped sharply on Monday as the Middle East conflict entered its fourth week driving crude oil prices higher.
At 10:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 72798.42 down by -1734.54 points or by -2.33 % and then NSE Nifty was at 22531 down by -583.5 points or by -2.52 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 73732.58 and intraday low of 72690.52 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 22851.7 and intraday low of 22530.3
