Indian benchmark indices continued to extend losses in line with global market weakness, as rising geopolitical tensions escalated after US President Donald Trump issued an ultimatum to Iran.
At 12:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 72655.5 down by -1877.46 points or by -2.52 % and then NSE Nifty was at 22524.9 down by -589.6 points or by -2.55 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 73732.58 and intraday low of 72560.19 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 22851.7 and intraday low of 22478.15
