Indian equity benchmarks, the Nifty50 and Sensex, rallied as crude oil prices declined sharply following a ceasefire agreement between the US and Iran.

While the repo rate is likely to remain unchanged, the central bank’s commentary will be closely watched for cues on the future policy trajectory and its outlook on ongoing geopolitical developments.
At 9:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 77268.67 up by 2652.09 points or by 3.55 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23863.35 up by 739.7 points or by 3.2 %.
