The BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading higher on Monday trade after three consecutive sessions of decline, supported by gains in Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd and positive cues from global equity markets.
At 10:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 77081.32 up by 417.11 points or by 0.54 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24058.3 up by 160.35 points or by 0.67 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 77341.53 and intraday low of 76754.2 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24107.6 and intraday low of 23936.2
