Indian benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty were trading lower on Wednesday as rising crude oil prices and weak global market sentiment dampened investor confidence. Concerns over escalating geopolitical tensions and the possibility of renewed military action in the Middle East also added pressure on equities during early trade.
At 10:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 74961.1 down by -239.75 points or by -0.32 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23478.05 down by -139.95 points or by -0.59 %.
