Indian benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty traded higher on Friday, supported by softer crude oil prices after reports indicated that the US and Iran had agreed to continue their ceasefire arrangement for an additional 60 days. The decline in oil prices boosted market sentiment and encouraged gains across equities.
At 10:35 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 76007.25 up by 139.45 points or by 0.18 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23936.9 up by 29.75 points or by 0.12 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 76220.02 and intraday low of 75817.5 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24002.8 and intraday low of 23871.1
